i was wondering if anyone uses an add-in Wifi card like i do. i am an owner of the G500 by E-TEN and since it lacks WiFi, i bought a WiFi card (got it 7 months ago) made by Spectec. my question is if anyone who uses this card have any problems with it? for me, it doesn't want to connect to the network, even if i am standing next to the wifi router, my card does not pick up the signal. it worked when i first got it, and for the past 2 months, it stopped working. the green light on the card stil blinks and flashes, like its trying to find the signal, but no luck. i used the driver from the Spectec website, and also was curious if that driver (from the website) is different version than the driver from the one that the CD provids. i tried the wesion with the WLAN monitor and the other one.
One can only assume that the WLAN driver from the website is the most up to date. hope any of this makes sense. oh yeah, one last thing, after installing/uninstalling the various drivers i was using, for some reason all my profiles for my WiFi access ponits disappeard. any reason why? one last note, my card is the Spectec Mini SD WiFi 820/822 WiFi Card
