I am new to this site and barely phone savy., and hope someone can help with this., I have a Dopd HTC 810.., recently all my deleted sms have come back to my in box (900) 3 times., was told by the service ctr that i needed to upgrade my software and to do a back up.., as they will be erasing eveyrthing

My question: I hv saved some SMS that I cannot afford to erase at this point of time as they are formal business communications and I need to keep these sms's as a safeguard..,

Can someone tell me if there is a way for me to save my sms anywhre or any alternatives will do

You have a couple of different options. You could head over to Sprite Mobile | Sprite Mobile Backup - Backup and Security Software for Windows Smartphone and Pocket PC and look for a program calles Archie. This (pay I think) program allows you to backup your SMS. Or go to Free mobile phone contact, photo, video and text message backup :: Dashwire and setup a (free) account and you can backup your SMS (and other things) at Dashwire.
