The menu said to introduce myself so I will in hope that someone might be able to offer assistance with my problem.
I have a brand new TYTN on the Rogers Network in Canada. I am experiencing problems with syncing as well as some other user-friendly deficiencies that are inherent in Windows Mobile 5.0.
I want to upgrade to WM 6.0 but Rogers does not have it and they are not going to offer in the future. If I upgrade to 6.0 ROM (3rd party), I lose my warranty. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Rogers ROM file to "de-grade" if I find that the 6.0 does not fix the problem?
Thanks in advance. My other option is to take this unit back for a full refund and buy a TYTN II (AT&T Tilt) but it would be 3rd party and have no warranty
Have you checked the HTC website? They typically have the latest ROMs for all of their carriers. What syncing problems are you having? I don't know that a new ROM is necessarily going to sync better.
