Word 2007 does not recognized .psw (pocket word) files. This makes synching just a little bit impossible. Does anyone know when or if Microsoft will have a patch for this issue?
Desktop Word has never been able to handle .psw format files. By default, the document sync setting is to convert .psw files to .doc format as they move from device to desktop via the sync conduit. If you want to access device-created Word files without the sync conversion, you should save them in .txt or .doc format within Pocket Word/Word Mobile.
