8525 Freezing up

My phone freezes up quiet a bit ...at least once a day. I loose caller ID and the screen wont switch from portriate to landscape. I have WM Voice 1.6 and SBP mobile shell. Also have SD card. I have the PTT button hack too. I though about doing a hard reset and reloading every thing. Anyone else have these kinds of problems? Im pretty disappointed in the overall performance of this phone. Had touch screen go out on my first one. Am i expecting to much? Thanks fergy

When did this behaviour start? Do you think that the two apps you mentioned in your might be the culprit? If so, remove them and see what happens.

Well. i had the apps with my previous phone so i loaded them from the start. I didn't have any problems at first. I did notice that it seemed worse when i put in a mini SD card...I pulled it out yesterday. It didnt require a reboot today but Im still having the "no caller ID screen/portriat/landscape problem. You think I may need to pull those apps and leave em off permanently? Or just to eliminate them?

I would go for a hard reset if I were you. Just make sure you have a good backup.
