Another 8125 Wifi Question!!

So i just got my cingular 8125 and im really excited about the wifi feature. but like everyone else i dont want to pay for data. I think i deleted everything i needed too. sometimes it still tries to sign on to gprs. However it will say if i click on the tower that im connected to a wifi post sometimes.....does that mean im not getting charged. once i connect how can i see for sure that i am not getting charged.

SORRY AND THANKS

Hi Janet, I too own a cingular 8125 and like all owners, i immediately set up the Wifi connection and it worked great. So great that even outside the range of my house it still worked. I immediately tried to modify, change and delete all the settings but it kept on connecting. So what i did (just to be on the safe side), I called cingular and told them that I would like to remove all internet access and even the pay per use from my current plan (unless you have plans to use it in the near future, i would suggest go for the pay per use). I would call cingular also, If you are not sure if you have been charged for internet use.... That would be my suggestion.

Have a nice day.
