Hi. I just picked up a cingular 8125. I was just wondering if anyone has the cingular pda connect unlimited plan. I read a description for it online but it doesn't really explain a whole lot about the plan and I wanted to know what it was all about and if it is worth the $40. Thanx
i have the 8525 and the unlimited plan. some people have the 20 dollar medianet plan and just use that for the internet, but i think its worth it to get the unlimited plan just to be safe. if you really use it than its def worth it. like i have AIM on mine and that uses data. some programs might be connecting and using data and you might not even know it. and its 5 cent per kb, and the guy i talked to at the store said he has seen bills in the thousands because of it. get a 2 gb card for your pda, put a crap load of programs on it, like orb and aim and opera etc...and get the unlimited plan.
but if you really arent going to use the net or programs than its not worth it. so thats what you have to ask yourself.
