Here is the issue. In terms of the phone software program running on the phone, on my start bar it is displaying the icon for a new voice mail message. However I have already listened to that message and the icon will not go away. I have attempted to dismiss the notification numerous times with no success. How can I clear the notification.
I'm guessing you are trying to dismiss the notification using the steps outlined in the second post here?
The second post here has a shortcut to get nearly all the way to the menu described above...
I don't know if this link will work, but I did a search at pdaphonehome.com's 6700 forums and found numerous threads. You may want to try searching there...
OR, you could just try (and buy!) Pocketmax's PhoneAlarm. It allows you to manage all sorts of ppc phone settings, including ringers, profiles, notifications, and much more...I've been using it ever since I got my i730. It's probably the one program I couldn't do without.
