just copy the files in the WMP folder in program files

this is a WMP skin (just a skin),so copy the files in the folder to WMP folder in program files and open the WMP and select options and from and skins choose the skin

Hello,

I am not able to use this skin for my pocket pc - o2 xda exec.

I donot have the folder called "WMP" in program files instead i have "Windows Meida Player". It doesnot work if i paste in this folde.
When i check the skin tab in windows media player, it searches for the skins and only shows up the default media player skin....

what do u think WMP stands for, windows media player.when u download the skin. dnt run it, instead save it to programs folder or if u run it and it cause to zip extract it to to wmp

hey, what do you mean by "options" up there?
dont you mean the "skin chooser"?

and what is the exact directory that i should paste these files into?

is it "C-drive > program files > windows media player" ?????

also, what should i do if the player doesnt display this skin in the skin chooser??

please help~

Hi:

I am new to this forum, but I think my Dell X51v might be broken.

For the past several days I have been trying to change the skin on my WMP. I even paid $2.49 for a separate download. The free version nor the $2.49 version works.

I am running Windows Mobile 5 and I have placed the files in the PROGRAM FILES\WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER. The files are there but WMP deoes not see them.

Anyone have any ideas?

ok i exstracted the 18 files and then copied them to :my device > program files > windows media player but it dont work!!!!! why??????????

when downloading it to make it easier instead of running the program or file save it to your windows mobile documents then open it with zip. after that extract the necessary files such as landscape and portrait to progams/windows media player. whenthis is done go to windows media player and go to menuand add new skin. u have to d it once when u are in landscape and once when u are viewing in portrait. hope that helps
