Pda as WEBCAM

I've tried using the ATEKSOFT program on the download section of this site. After using it for a few weeks, i palnned to use it as a webcam. So, i used Yahoo IM and set it up as a webcam. But to my dismay, the messenger always give me a "no camera installed" error message.

If anybody has tried using their pda as a webcam, please help.

note:
My pda is O2 mini
yes, it is connected through active sync
I also have a SOTI controller installed.

Please,please,please help.

drdonnil,

I believe you might need software to make this possible... someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I found this software that will allow you to do this. Let me know if this helps or not.

I saw this ATEKSOFT software and thought it was very clever however from this point on I am advising people not to buy it. Although the software looks slick the customer service offered by the company is appalling. What is more, if you post complaints on their forum about the quality of after service they get deleted. Not what I would look for from someone who wants my money.

Nice idea . very badly executed.
