Hi, rudysalpro ! I've just had a BIG letdown, because I excitedly opened your posting, thinking YOU had tips and tricks for me !!!

Well, lets see if I can think of any:
First of all, if you installed the latest ROM update (it came out earlier this month), and you got your stereo bluetooth headphones, my first tip is:
DONT LET YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER TRY THE HEADPHONES!!!
It will take you hours of pleading to get them back!!! (the sound is great, and my wife started dancing and shimmiying to the music... which would have been great if my daughters hadn't been present at the time!) ROFL

Second: Get yourself at least a 1 gig storage card. The MDA has very little main memory...

Third: check out the downloads section for some great software...

Fourth: check out the archives... in the last 2 months Tim, Murduck and others have posted some wonderful suggestions that I can't remember right now, including the "sticky notes" Tim often posts...

Fifth: If you are running a GPS program, your battery will not last the whole day !!!!
So carry your car charger...

Sixth: The antenna plug is actually under that rubber button next to the camera lens...

Seventh: Have you installed the miniSD storage card yet???
(this is really the most important step you can take)

Good luck, and welcome to our forum!

Manny

If you get weak reception while in your car you can hook up an cell phone repeater to the back of your phone like this one:

Cell Phone Antenna Booster - Home Car RV Boat - Cellular Frequency Chart - 3g EVDO HSDPA CDMA GSM Repeater Amplifier - Installation Instructions n Tips

It dramatically improves cell phone reception... if you are in the boonies it's a must have.

You'd think that by now boonies are the only places that have dead spots... My calls will drop in the same exact place on the freeway in the city!

Tim... I have the same problem in the middle of two bridges between Manhattan and Queens: the 59th St. Bridge and the Triboro...

I got the tip about the antenna from my brother, who lives in New Jersey and needed a solution for dead spots for his cell phone. He actually found out that an antenna is enough for his needs, and that his signal booster was actually overkill... of course, now his battery lasts a whole lot longer...
