8125 Sync issues...

Just bought my 8125 yesterday, love the phone

Installed all said software that came with the phone, active sync and outlook. So I sync up, goes fine, but when it tries to sync outlook contacts it gives me a error message
"Cannot synchronise with Outlook profile you are using, because a different profile was previously set up or the profile is password-protected.
Please open Outlook using the appropriate profile.

Support Code: 8503001f"

Any ideas or help would be awesome

Thank you in advance

Error 8503001f

Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Martyinco! The error message that you are receiving can be fixed by deleteing the device from ActiveSync (delete partnership) and then resyncing your device again. That should clear it up.

Let us know if this works for you!

Thanks Tim

Worked like a charm...

Now if I could only figure out why when I Sync it changes the clock on my phone ahead 1 hour

Martyinco:

Check to see if the Time Zone is correct on both the Pocket PC and the Desktop. Your Pocket PC will sync with your computer's time everytime it is connection, however, lets say your PC is set to CST and your Pocket PC is set to EST, it will show the time relative to your desktop. Does that make sense? Either way, check it out and let us know what you find out!
