OK, I stumbled here because I have a Verizon XV6700 and would like to get more out of it, or get another unit.
First, I HAD a XV6600 with its much larger screen, but it broke. So the insurance replaced it with a 6700. While its fancier in many ways, the big screen was really better for me.
Recently, I added Mapopolis, and a GlobalSat BT GPS unit. That all works great, I have to say!
But, my eyes arent so good closeup, and I'd liuke a bigger screen, so toying with the idea of a non-Cell PDA and a flip phone. In some ways, that would suck because it would deintegrate things like clicking on a contact from withing Mapopolis to navigate to it.
So wondering what would be the benefit to a large screen VGA? PDA with a LOT of cpu power, but not a phone... and use a phone separately...

Due to the VGA resolution, you'll be experiencing sharper, crisper text and images. Most of the new VGA Pocket PCs will also have brigher screens and faster processors. You can also change the text size without losing precious screen real estate which is a definite plus.
