To choose an avatar, you would go into your UserCP (found in the menu bar near the top of your screen) and then along the left hand side of the screen are some options, look for: Edit Avatar.
To upload your avatar, click on the "Upload an avatar from your computer" check circle, and then browse to the location on your computer where you have the photo stored you would like to use. Click on the photo you want to use and then click on upload. It should be as simple as that. Please note: that the maximum image size is 80x80 or 19.5Kb, whichever is smaller.
There is also an option for you to chose to use an image from a webpage as an avatar, however I have not done that myself, and am not sure the exact steps that would entail. Tim, Jane or YY can probably help you there.
Found the CP and went where it said to and clicked and a circle is checked say no AVATAR is being used, trying to remove the check no luck.
I am probly the dumbest yet.
