I am trying to track down a problem. The forums used to send an email notification that alerted you to a reply to your post in the forum. 2
weeks ago, BK noticed that he was no longer getting his replies. Since I've returned, I see I am not getting mine either. I have tried all sorts of settings and cannot seem to get it to work.
I want to eliminate road runner as a possible block on this as both BK and I are on Road Runner. If you have "email notifications" enabled in your preferences, could you please respond to this thread and let me know what your status is?
Are you getting any? If not, when is the last time you got one?

I think I am but this is a test to get an email. I am on RR too, BTW. I'll let you know if I get it.
It's probably related to a problem on Tools- we had 0 users sign up for a week which is very unusual. Then Saturday of last week I started getting PMs here, on BH, and Thoughts saying they weren't receiving their confirmation emails to activate the acct. I was manually entering 3 - 4 new users a day. WE finally got our mail host to look into it and they were blocking outgoing due to a worm of some kind on the internet late last week.
They reset it and everything's back to normal.

Thanks for checking...it appears to me that Road Runner is blocking to some degree emails from the Pocketpcaddict.com domain. I do get responses as long as I send them to my pocketpcaddict email. if I send them to my home email, they are blocked. I have tried all sorts of measures to get this to work including relaying the messages through the apache server here this was the only way I could generate an error message. (we're blocked from sending to the rr.com domain)
It's my guess that the 7000 or so spams sent to my main admin email account from idiot spammers were then relayed to my home email and then were logged as PPCA spamming the road runner domain. It isn't bad enough that these email advertisers have to bug everyone and their brother, they end up shutting down other people's access to legitimate emails
Anyway, I am negotiating with RR to get us unblocked. If there are any other people/domains blocked from getting topic replies, give me a heads up and I'll see what I can do.
