Has anybody tried MyIE2 recently? I used it a couple of years ago but stopped for a reason that escapes me right now. I downloaded the current version a couple of days ago and WOW!
Tabbed browsing, group saving and opening (my most used feature), popup blocker, and it's MUCH faster than IE.
It's free so at least take a look at it. http://www.myie2.com/html_en/home.htm

better than Opera?
This looks a lot like Avant browser which is a nice freeware add-on for IE, but is prone to memory holes ect. I won't nay-say anything about it though. what do others think about it?
I haven't used Opera so I can't say if it's better. Can you use the Google Toolbar in Opera? I can't live without the Google Toolbar and MyIE2 uses it just fine.

I'll look and see but I don't really know if it's necessary. They've pretty much built google search into the browser. next to your address "pane" there is another pane for searches, google, dictionary, yahoo, etc. just enter a word and hit return or drop down to choose a different engine.
It auto-enters name and passwords like the google toolbar does too.
Actually, once I looked for it so does MyIE2. Of course I found it after I installed Google Toolbar so I guess I'm officially redundant now. I do love having the browser open up my 11 key web sites when I start the program.
