PocketSNES is a Super Nintendo / Super Famicom emulator for the Pocket PC. PocketSNES "Bleeding Edge" is my most recent, up-to-date, test releases of the emulator. They usually include fixes and optimizations that have not yet been fully tested or incorporated into the official release.
hey every one can n e body tell me wich pocket snes to download i ve downloaded a couple but i cant run them cuz it say error but yea can some one b my savior [ i have the t mobile wing]
all i can really say is after spending 4 hours trying to figure out how to work psnes on a cingular 8125, im dumbfounded. it only works in portrait or landscape left, which makes the screen upside-down in comparison to the keyboard. although holding it in this position isnt exactly uncomfortable, you lose having legitimate "shoulder" buttons without right landscape. the keys altogether are confounding, i used the arrow keys for movement and set it up with xyab being in their native spots, same with select/start, to find out the keys dont work properply.. for whatever reason. shutting the screen off at any time results in crashing, and i got so angry from tearing the battery out 8 or 9 times to take another shot at a new set up that i just downloaded nester and hit up coolroms for some childhood regression (regular nintendo, dummy.) id kill to be able to play super metroid on my phone especially during down time at school/work, but smb3 is always fun.
if anyone can elaborate on the set up, using pocketsnes;
portrait = touchscreen controls (which only seem to work with the 2nd setup, 6 purple buttons, and even then you have to literally mash the screen down)
landscape, left = ability to use controls, actually works without black screen, but runs slow with 16b sound and 8b produces bizarre chirping. screen is held UNDER keyboard, relatively speaking, xyab key setup would be appreciated because i cant get any keys to work
sound = marrs the fps, i wouldnt even recommend it. which sucks.
landscape, right = black screen with 20 pixel gray line + sound, crashes phone basically
i dont have a ton of time to invest, but ill try harder. it only took me an hour to find all 3 super mario brothers in full working order for NES, though, so maybe some people will find that useful. i hope.
