Hello, I hope you all can help. I recently purchased a Dell Axim x51 for my mother and today it has started giving me a "unknown card in Slot 1" message. I haven't been able to find out how to fix this. I've tried two memory cards in the device, both from ScanDisk and it doesn't work. One of the cards works in my axim x3, so I'm not sure if it is the memory card. I'm a complete ignoramus to this and I am hoping someone can help me. Thank you!
This happened with my old ipaq pda. Is the storage car by itself, or have you used an adaptor? Is the card locked, there might be a small locking switch on the side or something. And sometimes you might find some freeware that can help recognise the card.
Oh, and blank the cards 100%, so there is no memory on there.
i feel that may be the problem is the system is unmpatible.if you cant solve it.you should find a after service.
