Tilt Lag

Now I love my Tilt. But by far the only thing that I am not thoroughly impressed with is the lag I get from time to time.

Like when switching from portrait to landscape view it lags but not too bad, but my main problem is sometimes closing programs or hitting ok in the top right... the phone will freeze for a couple minutes

I normally perform a soft reset when it does this but I was hoping someone else ran into this problem and has a solution for it? After doing some research on the net it appears as these are very common problems with the tilt

I had that similar problem on my Touch (the freezing after closing some program) and my problem was because I installed some app on there that screwed up my phone. Sometimes my internet would stop working. I tried reinstalling that program back and it worked just fine now.

However, I have no idea what happened to yours. Did you install any program and uninstalled it? If you did, hard resetting might do the trick. However, you do need to back a lot of stuff up.

One other thing. The Tilt is suffering the lack of video drivers (HTC and Qualcomm are being blamed for this) that may give you some lacking time when changes the view. Mine happens when I play video and touch the screen (I have the frigging Touch too)

another problem i am encountering with my tilt is sometimes i dont get notified of new text messages.

i cant seem to find a pattern to why it does it either. what happens sometimes is ill hear i got a new text message and look and there will be two one from 5 minutes earlier where my phone didnt go off.

i have caught the phone doing this because the screen turns on, and when exploring why it turns on i go to the messages page and itll notify me as soon as i view the page. the problem occurs fairly frequently and is quite annoying. any suggestions?

I have that similar problem. However, it's not the text message. It's the e-mail that doesn't show up real time.

I don't really know how to fix that on the text :-\ Sorry. I guess the only indicator is that the screen is flashing :-\

Camera Lag

I have the same issues of the occasional lag, but with the camera, it's absolutely terrible, it's pretty much impossible to take a good picture, I have to hold perfectly still, and so does whatever I'm taking the picture of for a good 10 seconds or so, it's terrible.

There's an update coming for the TyTN II soon, so let's hope that it's coming to the Tilt soon as well!
