8525 app problem...

I seem to have a problem with every app that i have put on my 8525. After a couple hours, or maybe even day, it stops working, without warning, or notifications, it just stops working, could i get help from someone?

Stops working means? Please provide more details..

Like, you execute the application from programs menu and get any notification? Was it due to any memory issue, did you try a soft-reset?

Yeah, i happened to try all that, well its been go so far after deleting some and trying different apps out. what happens is i execute the app and it starts to open with the title showing on the top left, but never actually gets there and closes. i have a feeling its because the apps aren't compatible with windows mobile 6. Yet i don't understand why it would work one or 2 times and then not. But another strange thing is, i completely deleted aim 2.0 (a program not compatible i don't think) and yet there is still a blank square box icon in my programs list. Do you know how to get rid of it?

you cant just delete a program and expect it to be gone..just like on real pc's...you have to go to settings-remove programs- and remove it completely from there, and then do a soft reset.

it sounds like your installing programs and deleting files in the folders you dont want, which makes your program not work.

i have dozens of programs made for wm5 but still work with wm6. just install the program on you device or storage card, do a soft reset, and dont mess with it in explorer...if you move it or change its name or anything it will not work then.

I did go to setting s-remove progams, i understand that its like a real pc, i get that. i just can't get rid of that icon though, which means a small part of it is still on my ppc i just can't find it.. i was just wonderin if someone had the same problem

another thing, is does anyone have problems with soft resets freezing a lot?
