Question Need some help

Hey,
Umm, I am a newb at my new Hermes so can anyone answer some of my questions ans some tips?
What does "brick" your phone mean?
What is IPL and SPL? Hard SPL? SSPL? ...etc Or Olipro.
Whats the radio? (the thing that has numbers on lots of siggys and has something that looks like an IP address?
What does "flashing" mean?
What's NAND?
What's SIM and CID and the unlocking
How to change my ROM and what are it's benefits and hazards?
And also, how do you work the console and game emulators?
And please tell me everything to unlock the full potential of my PPC without overloading it thanks! I have a basic knowledge of Computers.
And one last question, is it possible to play rmvb (video type like avi, wmv) on my PPC?
I am sorry if this is too much or something, you can answer or not. I think some of these questions are answered already, i will go look around. Thanks y'all!

Since your a newbie I wouldn't be flashing any roms anytime soon. For your first half dozen ?'s to kinda cover them all basically it just means putting windows mobile 6 on your piece but without the standard un-needed junk of the original rom but with the addition of some better stuff.

Just get the feel for your phone, I have the same one, its sweet. Once you feel more comfortable just take a look around at the how to's and follow them step for step or you can brick or basically make your phone a paperweight (dead).

I dont know what NAND and rmvb are, so cant help you there.

If you want full potential of your ppc you MUST get a microSD card to put all the programs on, and an unlimited plan ($35 a month + 200 texts) is pretty necessary if you want to use a lot of programs, unless you are constantly near wifi access.

You will find all of your answers on this site if I didnt answer them for you, so just look around.

Not too long ago I was a newbie-n00b. How did I elevate myself to my current, one hair above noob, status?
