8525 questions/gripes

At the risk of sounding like a total noob, I didn't see anything in the forums about this, so I'll ask...

Is it normal/are you guys used to the phone launching all kinds of apps and stuff while you're talking on the phone? If you're holding the thing up to your face, your cheek is busy launching stuff. What gives? I'd think the phone would go into some sort of half-locked mode except for maybe the dial keypad or something... Guess most people use bluetooth headsets so this isn't a big deal?

Also, the dialer buttons are really small. Going from a phone with hard buttons to this is a real transition. My fingers aren't fat, but it's tough dialing the numbers sometimes. What do you guys do?

thanks

Your ear (well mine) would hit the internet button. The only way to get around it is to lock the key pad after answering. Well I guess using a bluetooth headset would also help. As for dialing... I guess growing your finger nails might help. sorry.

Ok well the whats easier then locking the device is to put it to sleep by pressing the power button.

As far as key pad you can get a biger keypad?

Thanks for the response.
You can put the PDA to sleep while you're talking on it? I didn't know that.

Anyway, I just got a bluetooth headset. I don't want to mess with untangling wires while I'm driving.

I'll check out that keypad software.
thanks
