The language of the windows was German but my friend has no knowledge of German, so I wanted to do him a favour. I downloaded an Englih ROM wm5 from the net. I tried to upgrade from windows 2003 to wm5 using usb cable. Here are the steps:
After these steps, a blue bar represeting the progress of upgrade appeared but there were no progress, it stayed the same for some time then the following error message appeared
It says "USB" up the middle of the screen and down the middle it says "ver 1.00"
I did soft boot and hard boot as well as pressing power button but the pocket pc didn't respond so I removed the battery cover then put it back and pressed power button, and it started with the same old origional version of German.
It asked me to tap the screen with the stylus
