First of all I am so sorry to bother you all!!!, as I can see from 3 days of non stop reading here and elsewhere, its not always liked to ask questions, but I am sorry I really need help!
I bought a 8125 cingular from eBay (bought a x01ht but it hasnt arrived)
I have read seriously so much I am now confused! But I have tried to research this 100%
when I got the phone yesterday, I first sim unlocked it with the "All HTC" unlocker.. then I used unlock ext rom wizard, and Likiwiz02 for the cid.. I did see it say "your phone is superCID" unlocked or what ever...
I then tried to flash with x2h_wm 6.5 and it went through the steps like it should and finished and said your rom is updated, BUT when the phone rebooted, it was like it went DOWN not up.. I lost alot of things and now it said G not E for network, I had less signal, and had the roaming Icon. Well, after that My XP computer would no longer recognize the device.. I would plug it in and it would charge, and the active sync tries to connect but after a few minutes it says it can not connect.
I am able to "sometimes" connect top my Vista" device, BUT I have not yet mastered being able to flash a rom with Vista... as I always get RUU is closing, because of error.. and it leaves my phone in bootloader RUU mode, so i have to reset it. I have tried the instructions here RUU Works in Vista RTM! - xda-developers and One time I was able to get pretty far without an errors from RUU, but it said I needed a newer version.. or something, and after that I am unable to do it do any RUU on vista, although most of the time I can get it to connect by going to the services- and restarting wm 2003 thing"
This is the details of my device (and yes I know is a G3)
My question is.. What am I doing wrong? How can I get either XP to connect, or Vista to run RUU?
Can I flash by sd card.. ( I have seen both yes and no, and am confused on how to do it)
Tweeks I have done is installed a cab to remove roaming icon, reg. changed the G to E for Edge... Speed it up bu changing mem. and I think that's pretty much it!
Scream at me and call me stupid, BUT Please help me.. There are 10000000000000 different HOW TO all over the place, and all are different, and I really just would like a little PERSONAL help from someone..

Also.. On the Activesync issue.. I have uninstalled and delete all tracers on my xp laptop and reinstalled both the newest version , and when it did the same, I uninstalled and reinstalled an older version... Still the same!
Although I received no answers, I thought I would upddate... I am so embarrassed, as the active sync was an easy fix.. (disable Firewall) I cannot believe it is that simple, as it was working fine before with firewall..
Ok I am following the instructions now flashing with XP button rom, etc etc.. Will follow up later!
