CoPilot with Google maps

Hi

I have an MDA Vario and a CoPilot GPS
I can get the vario to detect and connect to the gps via bluetooth.

Then I try and use it in google maps with the gps feature and it wont find my device.

any ideas?

or if anyone knows another free map service which does work with CoPilot GPS, that would be great too.
