hey guys! i have a problem with my 8125 and i think my situation might be unique compared to the others i've already seen on here...
i didn't actually buy this phone. i found it in a store parking lot. but me being a good citizen, i put it in the store's lost and found along with my name and number in case it wasn't retrieved. sure enough, a month later, i get a call saying they didn't come back for it so it's all mine now! talk about luck, eh? so i'm very new to this phone.
anyway, my problem is when i turned it on, it showed the Cingular Raising the Bar screen, then it asks me for a password. i don't even know if this is possible to do for a phone, but i'm thinking the previous owner maybe called AT&T and locked it with a password so whoever found it couldn't use it... just like a lost credit card. is this the case? if it's not, how do i get passed this screen? i've tried putting my password that i use for my current phone and it didn't work. maybe i need to get it unlocked and activated via t-mobile first (i'm switching carriers soon). any help would be amazing. thanks!
i hav problem on my phone asking password also,i buy this in ebay and the owner doesnt know the password, and never contact me again, can somebody help me this plsss i tried hard reset but doesnt help..
