Unhappy 8125 got wet, need help

Had an emergency @ work 2day and 2 make a long story short, my phone was in my front pocket and it got a little wet. (had to wade a little water) Any way after i realized my phone was in my pocket, I pulled it out and it was dead. I took the back off, battery out and lightly blew it out with air. It's been around four hours since and put the battery back in, the screen is white, blue and red led's flashing, the camera light is on, and its vibrating constantly. Is my phone dead????

Keep the battery out, put the phone on a air conditioner vent without the battery cover on and the keyboard slide out , turn the a/c on full, you can turn the temp up, and let the phone stay for 36 hrs or more.

the a/c unit will be blowing out dry air which will help with drying it out.

good luck

you should let it dry before putting the battery back or trying to start it up again.

If it's completely dried (36 hours on the vent), then it should work. All electronic stuff will work even if it's been soaked in water. It's short-circuited when it's wet, so you've just to gotta let it dry.
