WI-FI acting up.

I'm having problems with my Cingular HTC 8125. Its my wi-fi, for some reason my wi-fi only works when the phone is connected via usb. I've tried the wireless setup in my house it shows I'm connected on the phone and but when I try to browse the web I recieve this error "Page connot be found. check the name and try again". I get this error with every web page I try ask.com, google ect. I've tried what I've read in a few forums with the unchecking "proxy connections" Then I tried removing my router settings from the phone and refinding it and then typing it my wep key and setting the IP address. I also tried a combo of all of them with a soft reset. Still no luck. I went to school tried the phone on their network it worked for about 30minutes or so then when I shut down and later on turned my wi-fi back on I ran into the same issue again. I'm stumped

Perhaps try backing up everything and doing a hard reset. If you do this, try connecting before you restore your data just to rule out any software conflicts.
