Has anyone installed a theme on their phone before?
I found a place that sells it at iPhone Theme For Pocket PC - Convert your Pocket PC into the iPhone, but I'm really not sure where to get started. Should I log into the mobile site and download it directly, or am I better off downloading to my PC, and then transferring. If I do need to transfer, do I de-compress first and then transfer?
Does anyone know if the theme affects overall WM 6. functionality?
well... to start off... what kind of file is it giving you to download from. If it's CAB, then you need to download it and install in by your phone (you can download by computer and transfer it to your phone to install)
If it's anything else, you have to use your computer to do it. usually it's a rar, or something then you open it on the comp, then drag the .cab to the phone.
it SHOULDN't affect anything, because it's charging you... However, it's never to be sure. YOu should always back up before you install anything.
You probably lost some functionality by limiting on what you can run. Meaning, I don't know what buttons the iPhone theme is giving you. It could limit what WM6 can do for you, since there's no buttons for certain functionality...
