I have a Touch through Sprint. I read a couple reviews online that said people used 8GB cards, so I bought one by Sandisc.
Everything seemed fine, downloaded a few applications to the card. Then I put about 5GB of music on it by pulling the card out of the Touch and using the USB adapter that came with the card. Popped it back in the Touch and it doesn't see it at all.
Did I make a mistake buying an 8GB card? Is there a problem with the card? Anything i can do to correct it or work around the problem?
I have a 4GB card and everything works fine, delete everything and start from the begining maybe it works... (HTC Touch: you must have a 2GB card at most)
I have an 8 Gb mini SDHC card in my Touch and it works perfect. Load your files through Activesync (click on "my computer"--> mobile device --> My Windows Mobile-Based Device --> storage card. Or you can sync your music files with Windows Media Player.
The first time you put in your new card and sync with Windows media it tries to add everything including pictures. After the first sync it will give you the option to select which items to sync. Find the sync status while it is synching and then just stop it before it starts loading the pictures.
