Wifi Issues

Hi im new to these forums, and to smart phones. Ill try to give as much info as i can, My Altell 6700 i just got it off of ebay. It started having a problem with the wifi. Ill have the wifi up and running and it will be working fine, but then for no reason it will shut off (the wifi). So i went to the comm manger and tried to turn it back on, but when i click on the button, it loads for a sec, then it go right back to off. I didnt know if yall could help me with this. Also im running WM5 if that helps, ill give yall any more info if you need it. To get it to come back on i have to soft reset the system.

Thanks,
Bigsniperboy885

I would check the Altell website to see if you have the most current ROM for your device. If you do, I would then try backing up your data and performing a hard reset, which will put you back to factory settings. See if you still have the issue before you recover your data. If so, you may have a hardware or driver problem.
