I need help downloading anything on to my phone. I have the 6700 pocket pc,i just bought it not to long ago and i dont know where to start as far as downloading anything or how.what programs do i need? how do i get them? i really am interested in the iphone theme for my phone. if someone could help me i would really appreiciate it. thanks
There are two types of files that you might download: .exe and .cab. If the file is a .exe you must be connected to your PC via Active Sync or Mobile Device Center and install the program by running the .exe file on your PC.
If the file is a .cab you need to put that file on your phone, you can move it via AS or MDC or you can download it directly "over the air" via Internet Explorer or whatever browser you are using on your 6700. Find that .cab file and tap on in to begin the install process.
