This is the only PPC I have ever owned - had it for about 2 years I think.
64 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, WMobile 5.1.195

Until recently, when I swapped out the battery the PPC would retain the date and time. Now it loses the date and time every time I take the battery out, even if only for a few seconds. The Settings/Power screen says the time and date can be retained for 5 minutes after removing the battery.

All my other data is OK (I assume it is stored on the card and not in the internal workings of the PPC).

Altho the batteries (standard 1100mAh because I cannot fit the extended battery into a holder I have to use for the PPC) seem to be running down a little faster than when they were new, they last for about 1.5 hrs doing the same tasks where they used to last maybe 2 hrs.

Any ideas on what to do would be greatly appreciated.
