Apple's plans to release their new software, MobileMe, has been slightly leaked to the public in the form of two oddly found webpages:
1,
2.
Since those leaks, Apple has released its formal web presentation of the
content, and explained some of the mystery behind their latest creation.
The MobileMe will sync any devices with the capbility to support the software and networking together. MobileMe "stores all your email, contacts, and calendars on an online server — or “cloud” — and pushes them down to your iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, and PC. When you make a change on one device, the cloud updates the others. Push happens automatically, instantly, and continuously."
Kind of cool.
This application will be compatible with Windows Vista (whoa) and will be priced from $99 - $149.
When I imagine uses for this "Cloud" and "pushing" of information, it just all seems so "edgy" or "espionage-esque". Maybe that's just me though.
