Mine displayed similar problems. The battery 'appeared' to be fine and fully charged. Replacing it and doing a 'Clean Reset' cured the problem for me.
Hard Reset: Calendar+iTask+Reset
Bootloader: iTask+Contacts+Reset
Clean Reset: Contacts+Inbox+Reset
Soft Reset: Reset __________________
HX4705 - currently inoperative.
