The Alltel's HTC Touch is a bit ahead of Sprint's and Verizon's game. Alltel is reving it up for the HTC Touch. It's offering EVDO Rev. A and MORE!
Congratulations (with some bitterness) to those who bought the HTC Touch with Alltel instead of Sprint. You, now, are the first HTC Touch peeps to be able to be blessed with those EVDO Rev A. The new ROM is 3.04.671.2 has just been issued by HTC that brings several fixes and enhancements (hints the EVDO Rev A).
I guess Alltel is pretty nice. Alltel is probably not blocking anything much for its customers. Sprints will probably have to wait ages for it. Verizon hasn't even gotten out to the market yet (well, for most).
