To be honest, I would not even do it...it is not worth it.
What is an APN when i was on the phone with them they were talkin about it and I had no clue.
But I changed over to connecting to my isp instead of medianet, and apparently they messed up in the paperwork or something and thought i was tethering, but since I do not have a tethering plan i was billed $2000!!!!!!!!!!
Not worth even trying it, obviously it was a mistake on their part and I got refunded, but since it would not be their mistake if you got caught, your bill could be astronomical by using your phone as a modem for your laptop.
there is a way out there to use your phone as a wifi router, and also software called pdanet, which apparently tricks the company into thinking your just using your phone and not the laptop (something like that) |
