I have to agree with your article 100%
HTC is fantastic at the 'WOW' factor of their products... HTC produces some very nice hardware and I'll admit I did drop the full price on the Mogul and like so many other's after not learning enough with that fiasco I turned around and dropped the full price on the Touch...
HTC Mogul being an absolute wonderful phone/pda with all of the bells and whistles one would want in a 'swiss-army knife' phone dropped the ball from five miles up on the memory issues plaguing the phone/pda.
How could it get much worse for HTC... Well, they figured it out and released the Touch! Like so many others after dropping the dollars on the Touch and feeling for a very breif time that HTC got 'it right finially' it was quickly dashed when now the new disaster was a device that randomly would and continues to trash files on the Mini SD card!
HTC just cannot seem to get it right and what is worse they don't seem to have any concern or care for the American market at making all of the issues corrected.
SprintPCS should thank HTC, at least in part for Sprint's recent decision to layoff another 4000 employee's... First the 'fire costomers' by SprintPCS is financial suiside for Sprint... Unacceptable phone/pda equipment is just not going to be tolorated in any consumer market...  |
