Unfortunately, while your solution works for most POP3 accounts, it does not apply to Gmail. The inbox clearing on the device is handled from the server side and does require the added steps outlined above. A little annoying when the 'x' days option is what we are used to using to control our POP3 accounts (such as Yahoo), where it works like a charm. Oh, well. |
