A co-worker was going to pick one up but decided not to because att/cingular doesn't provide insurance for pda/ppc. Something I knew already but he didn't and that bothered him due to the fact that the iphone had a glass screen. He said the rep told him that if u don't have the $ to buy a new one if it breaks then don't buy it at all. Surprising to hear that from a rep.
I personally think this was a very bad move on Apples part considering that newer phones are always being created. And unlike a normal ipod/mp3 player that you can use for a long time, people usually want to upgrade to better phones. So you spend lots of $ on this phone and then what if u want to upgrade? Spend a ton more money for the next version? It's not worth it in the long run. __________________
