josh23443,
I'm sure you have your settings correct on the Gmail site, or you probably wouldn't be receiving mail either. But here are a few things to try (in no particular order) and a summary of my current settings, so you don't have to go though all the posts to figure out what has been done or changed:

Try This:
1. Soft reset.
2. Remove all email from Outbox folder (move to a different folder). Then send/receive. Replace outgoing mail back in the Outbox folder and send/receive again.
3. Delete all outgoing mail, then try to send a new message.
4. Ensure your PPC is the only device and/or PC using a third party app to access Gmail. Gmail seems to be a monogamous kind of gal... Let me explain: I have noticed that Gmail does not work well when you use it with more than one third party app and/or device. Example: Gmail has trouble when you try to check your mail from Pocket Outlook on your PPC, then Outlook 2003 at your work computer, and later on from Outlook at your home computer. Gmail performs better when its one app on one device. All other places (work, home, etc…) use the gmail.com internet GUI.
5. Retype passwords for both incoming and outgoing mail settings. (There may be a typo)

My Gmail.com Settings:
1. POP Download= Enable POP only for mail that arrives from now on

My PPC Gmail Settings:
1. Email address= username@gmail.com
2. Your name= “your name”
3. User name= recent:username@gmail.com
4. Password= “password”
5. Save Password checkbox= Checked
6. Account type= POP3
7. Name= Gmail
8. Incoming mail= pop.gmail.com:995
9. Outgoing mail= smtp.gmail.com:465
10. Domain= gmail.com
11. Connect and check for messages every= 60 minutes
12. Connection= The Internet
13. Only display messages from the last “x” days= 3
14. Require SSL connection checkbox= Checked
15. Outgoing mail requires authentication checkbox= Checked
16. Use separate settings for outgoing mail checkbox= Checked
17. Outgoing Settings- Username= username@gmail.com NOTE: recent: was not used for outgoing mail.
18. Outgoing Settings- Password= “password”
19. Outgoing Settings- Domain= “blank” NOTE: The domain for outgoing mail is left blank intentionally
20. Outgoing Settings- Save Password checkbox= Checked
21. Outgoing Settings- Require SSL for outgoing mail checkbox= Checked
22. Get full copy of message
23. Storage= Store attachments on storage card

Hope something here will help you out.
