ok, i know this is gunna sound like a really noob question.
my buddy's got a 8125, and wants to get his wifi goin for when he's over here (no wifi at his house). im not really a noob when it comes to computers or my router or anything, i have a wifi network setup and workin on a couple of my computers (not my personal one, dont want the instability or lag associated with them as i game alot
). however i am a bit noob to his phone, first off i hate the ui or whatever u want to call it, or maybe im missing something,, but is there an option im missing to scan for wifi networks? and also, i use a MAC filter on my router, but i dont see that the phone has a MAC address
(again im a bit of a noob to this phone so maybe im jsut blind), but anyways what is prety much the most straight forward way to search for or even set up the wifi? his phone is not seeing any wifi connections (but i dont really know how to scan for them) and i know a couple neighbors of mine have one, so atleast one should show up if not more. oh and yes i turn my MAC filter off when trying to get his phone to connect. thanks for the help
