Well...
I was chatting with some fellow Gmail and WM5 users, I found there appears to be a better "work around" for the problem I mentioned at the beginning of this thread and confirmed what Linley had said, being that the problem is in fact a Gmail "feature".
For those of you having the same problem, here is the ugly work around:
Go into the
"Messaging" app, find your Gmail account and select to edit the account. Tap
"Next" until you come to the page with the
"Options" button and select it. Continue tapping
"Next" until you come to the page with the "message header" option. Select "Get message headers only" and check
"Include 'x' kb of the message body" and enter
"999kb" in the textbox. Tap
"Finish".
Like I said, it's not pretty, but this will get you most of the message and best of all, it'll leave your messages in your inbox because it thinks there is more of the message to download. I guess all I can do now is pray the Gmail Gods will come up with a REAL solution.
