Ok, just lost my paragraph, so starting again...I want to know if everyone has heard of or experienced the same problem I've had with the 8125. Couldn't find it in a thread. I got the first one in August after drowning my Treo 650 in a glass of water (so sad). Was totally happy with it until the charge port started getting loose and I had problems charging it, until one day it just completely snapped off. I brought the phone into a Cingular store and was told that someone came in the day before with the same problem. After speaking with 8 different people at Cingular and HTC I learned that this was a known defect in the phone and they would give me no problems replacing it. So they did. That was 3 weeks ago. Don't you know that my brand new 8125, which I have been treating oh-so-gingerly, also has a failed me. Without even a warning jiggle, I went to charge the phone and saw that the charge port was rollin around in there like it was forcibly removed with a tiny, port-hating instrument. After 1 1/2 of call transfers b/w Cingular and HTC today they have agree to send me the 8525 cuz I'm NOT dealing with this BS again. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem or heard of it with the 8125, or more importantly, if it's been remedied with the dawn of the 8525?
