There doesn't appear to be a patch or defect notice on the hp website. Any suggestions? I imagine that I have no alternative but to take it back. 
Also, does anyone with a similar unit know how to have the lock feature turn automatically after a period of disuse? Regularly, I seem to be forgetting to lock it and calling people accidentally. |
hullo there! not sure if you got your answer yet - but the same thing happened to me the first couple of months i started using my phone. what i do now is when i'm done using it, i hold the "call end" button down a little longer to lock the phone before putting it away. it might help you with the unlocked phone problem.
