Take the battery out NOW!!! Also, remove anything else that is user-removable to open the device as much as possible. Then, let it sit completely unused for a couple of days so it can dry - DO NOT USE IT!!! Moisture in the device may be creating a short and you could fry the CPU or memory by still putting power through it. If nothing has been damaged yet, letting it dry completely may save it. Keeping it powered before it has dried is the worst choice. |
