We tried my card in his phone and saved pictures to it just fine, and when we put his card in my 8525 it showed up just fine in the Settings>Memory>Storage Card screen. Mine just shows up as “Not installed”. Sounds like a compatibility issue to me. What do you think? |
Randallm,
I am using a SanDisk 2g card in my 8525 with no problems.
One thing I would try is put it in, say, a Motorola Micro SD Adapter. Then, stuff that in the appropriate card reader slot on your computer or printer or USB SD card reader. See if the computer recognizes 1.0 gig on your card. If so, likely a faulty 8525 and head back to Cingular Store. If not, try to format the micro SD card. I think it uses a FAT 32 structure. . . many on this forum smarter'n me will correct that if wrong.
