It used to be so much simpler. HP has fixed this for some of their devices with a ROM update which lets the user access the Schedule menu option without this hassle, so there is hope. Let us know if this works. |

WorkAround works as advertised.
No clue how much cpu time ActiveSync sops up, but the 8525 "feels" snappier with AS shutdown. Wishful? Probably.

What is viewed as simpler now was, in its day incredibly complex. First computer I programmed was an 8K IBM 1401. . . bugs could actually nest amongst the iron memory cores. . .
