Brain C was correct re: Speakerphone. When IN a call, right SoftKey triggers menu with SpkrFone toggle on/off. Sound quality and mike pickup is adequate for use as a stand alone car kit (PersOp: "Foks with in ear B/T gizmos look stupid!). The $5 (car wash junk rack) dash mounted squeeze holder for the Kyocera fits the 8525 perfectly. Lucky is always better that smart!
Haven't tried voice activation yet. Liked it on the Kyocera and see someVoice apps adv here and at Cingular forum.
Two g micro SD came off eBay from oh_buiness in Plano, TX. $76 plus $8 mail, he mailed it yesterday.
The 7135 was bogged way, way down in my huge Contct DB. The 8525 is wicked fast gettingContacts, tel #s, etc. Think you will like it.

Coastlanders,
It is well to remember: "Be careful what you wish for."
Sometimes, us dumber'n a box of rox users instinctively know what "ought to be."
Sure enough, re exploring "Buttons" tured up an option to map 1 of the 4 for <Rotate Screen>.
VOILA!
Landscape Mode now instantaneous using Button #3!
Perfect.
Re: Speakerphone, when "in call," the Left Soft Key gives access to a set of onscreen controls for Speakerphone, Mute, Hold, etc.
Very nice for 1 hand op.
All in all, the 8525 has kicked my butt for a couple days. But, I'm LIKING it more each day as I get better acquainted with the WinMob design spec.
So, from The High Country, a SOLID "Buy It."
Best,
