I need the device to be a good quality phone, able to sync with three email sources (addresses I have), open and view word and excel documents (editing could wait till at laptop), voice dial, like to have camera (for those special UK moments), international capabilities for email and instant message, bluetooth, hopefully wifi and probably a tethered modem for my laptop.
I have looked at the BB 7130 and figured I would end up with having two phones to match all I would want. I thought about a PC Card for the laptop instead of tethering, but that adds cost and another line. The Cingular 8125 I passed on due to horror stories and having to use two handed, but for answering emails, good option, but instant messaging....not on the go. I thought the Palm Treo 750 would be a good option, though not sure wifi will be avaialble in the States and it is not released yet. I will look at 8525 today ( a bit pricey.)
Simply, I need to be available on the go, phone and email 9read and respond to reports) with many offices, with some soon to be in the UK and other countries.  |
